When trying to run the server backup in the SBS2011 console after installing sp1 for SharePoint 2010 it was failing with the following error logged in application event logs ‘Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Failed resolving account spsearch with status 1376. Check connection to domain controller and VssAccessControl registry key.’ I found the solution on [...] Log on to SBS 2011 as an Administrator Open Registry Editor. In the Registry Editor, navigate to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer“ Create a sub-key “RemoteUserPortal” under the key “SmallBusinessServer“, if it does not already exist Under the “RemoteUserPortal” key, create a new a Multi-String Value with the name”TsServerNames” (without the quotes; note the capitalization) Edit the “TsServerNames” [...] |
